Happened a couple days ago in Spain. The supply ship had a malfunction and was stuck in reverse.Releasing its anchor did not take effect in time. The damaged vessel was a 1903 replica, steel hull 163ft, 25ft beam. Sunk in 30 min. Sad

I can't imagine how that captain's stomach felt as he watched the disaster. So lucky no one was hurt.

She popped into FWD pretty quickly after ramming the sailboat.
Good thing the captain of the sailboat wasn’t on board…that would have been a rude (if not harmful) awakening.

There was at least one person on board because you can see them come on deck just after the collision.
