The "chintzy" cockpit table

I love my new boat. It sails great and is very well designed. We're enjoying it immensely. But it's hard to believe that with all that fine engineering and designing that the cockpit table is held securely with a bungee cord. It's the "chintziest" part of such a beautiful boat. Has anybody come up with a better solution to secure it other than replacing the whole table? Kevin

There is a better way!

One of the 310 owners developed a good way to replace the black bungy cord. I will try to find the post and send you a reference. It uses stainless hardware and looks great.
