i mounted cam cleats this spring on my 23.5 right behind the winches on the bulkhead wall i usually crossmy sheet to the windward side winch having a cam right behind the winch makes it a breeze to singlehandi through bolted them you can get access through the winch access plates in the cabin if you make one modificaton this one is it

Best Addition Autopilot

The very best addition for my single handing was an autopilot. I call it Capt'in Casper, even with a full load of hands, it's great to kick back and let Casper do the dirty work on those long hauls. Of course keeping a mindful watch. Not a good idea to go down below and start dinner.

PVC Tiller extension

I used a 1 1/2 inch pvc pipe and coupling to extend my tiller so that I can sit up frount and reach all the control lines easily. It has made sailing much better.
