coupla years agoI bought from a guy in Mass. I think his name was Rudy, all new portlights for my 30. Now due to a spring tide, an on shore wind, and a very large piling, I have to replace my rub rail. I know Rudy has "New Old Parts" and I would apreciate any one that knows the number or address of Rudy the O'day guy your telling me. I can be reached at Captbald@aol.com. Thank you for your help. Bob

I spoke with Rudy yesterday (6/6/02)

He said that he does mostly mail order business and is on the phone all day, but he has traditional "store hours" for browsing on Saturdays, 0830-1200.

Better Call Him

Hi. Ya I hear Rudy is the guy to see for O'Day parts, but he is a pain in the butt to get ahold of. He doesn't return e-mails, so ya better call him, and be ready to get through the other staff before finally getting through to him. it's like getting into a high security vault-- you gotta get through like 100 big heave doors that are progressively heavier untill you get into the vault. -BM

Where's the rub rails?!?

Hello Captbald, I'm a new O'Day owner (192). Foolish me never thought to inquire as to whether O'Day is still in business or not, for parts sake. Doesn't sound like they are! Anyhow, I too am in need of a new rub rail, and maybe additional parts. If you'd be so ki8nd as to let me know if find "Rudy", or anyone else that has parts, I'd appreciate the info. If hear of anyone in my searching, I'll definitely let you know. Much appreciated! Captain Mike Hertel
