I just wanted to thanks Phil for starting and maintaining this site. It has reaslly been great with a lot of useful information which otherwise would take years to obtain by hanging around boatyards.

Personally, I like hanging around in boatyards, although it takes up a lot of time, and sometimes they chase me away

This site has been a huge help for me as I am a beginning sailors. It has helped me with many technical problems, but the BIGGEST help has been the safety ideas and procedures. Where we live a boatyard is three kids with walnut half shells on the banks of our creek. THANKS PHIL. Ray
