Well I am back from visiting for XMAS up NY and went to the boat today and installed the new cutlass bearing just like Mainsail's info and put it in cold freezer
and into zip lock bag with ice and hand soap only and OMG went in like a charm.
Before leaving for up north I removed the shaft for a new PSS rubber booth and so while it was out even thought the bearing was pretty good for an 07 H-36 I cut it out with hacksaw like Mainsail's info web site shows.
Never did one before but being pretty handy around tools I decided to do it myself instead of paying some one and thing with removing the shaft as info from mainsail's info but pulling the shaft was much harder but it came out real good.
Thanks again to mainsail's web site and been passing it on to non Hunter friends down here in Punta Gorda.
