Hi Ron, Thanks a lot for your input! I'll get a copy of Brian's video and book and have a go at it. I was pleased to hear you did not have to reef as early and could also point higher. It seems when I try to tighten up the shrouds so the leeward ones aren't flopping around the mast wants to inverte but I haven't been patient enough to go out and do as you suggest.
