I hope Rob sees this and makes amends--it is not nice to owe someone for a favor. I do hope he has seen this and makes it right--sailors need to stick together. I do many favors for friends and now over time I know who my real friends are. Best to you all --jorgen in kelowna--I must get my boat in the water

This goes to Rob Cheshire in Beaufort, NC.

I guess you needed a sail for your Vega- and I've sent you a main sail.
UPS told me you got that sail; sadly you never acknowledged it. I've
spent $ 32.13 for freight- you never bothered to reimburse me.
Well- I've learned a lesson!
Have fun with your Vega, but please keep your money- yet I still hope
you always have a handwidth of water under your the keel of your boat!

Hi Wilhelm

I agree that help is always nice to receive and even better to give but at
least say thanks........

I have sent many things to other Vega owners prior to payment and have only
been let down once (took six months to get payment and only after I traced
where they worked on the internet and phoned up their office!). I trust until
proved wrong but never a second chance. Come on Vega owners we are all in the
same boat (I like that).

The flighst to Florida in July/August are astronomical so it looks as
though it
will be in October that we come over. The only flights they would offer me
were
via Washington which is useless as travelling with two young boys for that
length of time is a no no....

Hope the sailing goes well for the season

Kind Regards to all

Hi Stephen;

October is fine- at least then the weather here is much better for
sailing. I was
supposed to leave for Bangkok this week- but I had to postpone. No big loss-
I go sailing instead..:)
