Thank the many folks who emailed me with helpful advice and suggestions for my rehab of my 1981 H22. Here's what we've been up to: Yesterday was a BIG day: I patched the keel, so far, so good. I have some folks helping me who are really terrific. This winter I'll redo the electric.. that'll be an experience! But right now, I just want to get her in the water (and learn to sail ). We washed her down with pool cleaner (superbleach) and polish.. she's already looking much better! I cleaned all the green slimmy stuff out of the cabin and have started cleaning out the bilge (ick) - Ive put my hands into murky places I NEVER thought I would ever put a stick, never mind a whole hand... yes, somewhat of a girlie girl.. but Cute

Saltydog: Interesting title line

It sure threw me for a loop when I saw the title line. I said to myself, "what? rubber rudder?" ;d

Many thanks!

Have contacted the folks in Florida, I'm looking forward to their response! I repaired the broken centerboard this weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to figure out the very complex looking schematic for rigging it!
