Well its positive my 27 Catalina has drywood termites.. Got the little coffee ground looking fecal matter about here and there (seems to be primarily in the galley area) and have verified the wings and Aelates, have not seen any Soldiers as yet. Who has a proven (One Shot Prefferably) method for elimination? Help Quick. Knowing these things are in my boat gives Momma the heebee-jeebees and shes doing the la-freak. This is a boat now remember I know what to do on a house... you would call a professional. If thats what I need to do then be it. But if you have had this problem on your boat in a somewhat severe measure and got rid of them please post your cure ASAP.

NEB, I don't know where you live but the best method for total kill would be to have a local exterminator tent the boat on the hard and gas the little bastards. From what I've heard this gets all areas and is good enough to be warranteed. Ray

Termites

I had mine tented in the water. Thiis is done all the time and saves the cost of hauling. I paid $900 bucks.

The termite eradication crew shows up and dude asks me how much I paid the salesman / estimator. I told him and he said all his crew got out of the $900 was $350.00

I would stop a crew that's on the job somewhere and ask for a deal instead of over paying a salesman that isn't even part of the termite work crew.

Happy New Year !
