I use a Loo's Tension Gauge
I have a 26.5 and don't know the tension that the manufactuer recommends. But I use a Loo's tension gauge and whatever the little cheatsheet says for tension, is what I use. So if I am tensioning 5/16 cable and the cheet sheet says 700lbs for cable, that what I tighten to. I usually will back off just a hair, say 600 lbs, but I may go 650. It really depends how into it I am. I can give you the specs that the cheat sheet says if you want. But I won't be able to get it untill next weekend. Cheers.PS I also check my tension 3 times a year. Before the season, that when I retension. And twice during the season. After the season, I slack the cables to 200 lbs, for winter.
