The proper tension is derived from the type and size of the wires and not from a boat model. For example a 1X19 strand wire of 1/4" inch thicknes has a breaking strength of 8,200 lbs. A proper tension of around 12% would yield a tension of around 980 lbs. Use a Loos gauge and follow tunning procedures.
