Anchored out last night and this morning with the SCA in effect for Long Beach; Island White dead astern @ ca. 270 ft. Kinda like a lee shore. A cool Santa Ana wind is arriving from the north at a mere 10 kt. Forecast of any Santa Ana wind is enough to keep most Southern California sailors at home. Actually, the zonal forecast was for winds to 25 kt. It can blow hard in here, but not today (so far)!
WindyTy is right on the mark except it may actually be a bit more out of the north than northeast as forecast.
