I found that a Porsche oil drain plug will work as a replacement while waiting for a new dip stick. The plug is aluminum size M18x1.5mm. Drill a vent in the plug and its ready to go. It is not of course a dip stick so that function is not resolved. In my case sufficient of the original remains that I can use it to
