Hi all.
Thought might be of interest to some?
My temp gauge has never worked - needle moves to left hand (cold)
position when engine is started and stays there.
I had a vague memory that heating in pot of boiling water and checking
that resistance changes is way to test the sender.
So I boiled the sender & replaced in manifold.
Bingo - temp gauge now works...
Should I try the boiling method with electronics if they give trouble?
