I need to repair or replace two opening ports on my 1983 H34. I got leaks!! Do I need to concern myself with the outside temperature when doing this? I'm thinking about the sealant and anything else that may be temperature sensitive. I'm located in the Chesapeake.

Thanks,
Joe Mullee

Temperature considerations

You absolutely have to be concerned with temperature. Read the manufacturers recommendations on the specific sealant product you are using. You don't want to have to do that job twice.

Most sealants have minimum application temperatures detailed in the use instructions.
