Telltales...where to stick'em

We just bought a very nice '73 Catalina 22. We are interested in putting telltales on the sail so we can get an idea of the windflow. The problem is that we are getting conflicting opinions of where to place them! In addition, we plan to use it for weekend sails and camping around the Tampa Bay area. Anyone who does this type of sailing who has leaned how to outfit the boat, we would love to hear you ideas!Suggestions are welcomed.Thanks,Rich & Cathy

Here's a good illustrated article on telltale placement. Hope it helps. I expect that you wil get other opinions about telltalle placement from others on this list. There seem to be several schools of thought on this subject.....I hope you enjoy your boat!
