Telescopic Ladder

Now that the telescopic ladders have been on Hunter's for a while, what's the skinny? Are they easy to climb from the water? Do you stub your toes? Do they leak? Have they fallen off? Are they easy to open/close? What about when the boat is on stands? I must KNOW these things! AAHHHH! Mark

Work Great

This will be the 4th year for my 340. The ladder works fine. A little stiff to pull out and push back. But it is most convenient. Two notes: 1. I sail in fresh water. 2. I remember a badly modified picture of my trailer with an aircraft carrier on it which somehow got posted on HOW - so the question is, would I really provide you with an honest answer? <grin> Regards. jim

I agree with Jim Russell although I sail in fresh water as well. More comfortable on the feet than the ladder on my previous boat a Mirage 29. The ladder does provide a neat hiding place for spiders too.
