The problem with grease compatabilities is not the "grease" per se, but the carrier. Unless you can be sure that all the old grease has been completely cleaned out it can interact with the new and in effect be like having no grease at all. Also, depending on the materials of construction, you can definitely have electrochemical interactions between the grease components (lithium or zinc or other base metals) and what is being lubricated. I'd stick with the teflon base grease as it is an inert polymer, that won't interact chemically. I haven't researched the carrier, but why tempt fate. Like Steve says...Super Lube.
