Technautics CoolBlue Compressor location

We bought a "CoolBlue" refrigeration unit at the Seattle Boat Show about 3 years ago. We are finally getting to the point of installing it. We thought that it could go into the deep port lazarette where the old one had been. We talked to a marine refrigeration guy and he said that he didn't think that there would be enough air circulation in there. He suggested building a cupboard in the berth under the companionway with louvered sides to house it. Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated. The new unit is also more than twice as big as the old one.

What size is your compressor is it similar to the one I just put in?
