I'm getting ready to refinish the handrials and I've seen a special tape that is pre cut to go around the handrail base, but I can't remember where. Does anyone know where the product can be found?Thanks,Bob Teeter

Thanks La Donna. I'll see if I can get ahold of some. I don't want to remove the rails and I have used just regular blue 3M tape in the past. The cost is worth it.Bob

It is 3M blue

It's not any special type of tape, just the 3M blue with holes. Just wanted to clarify that. Their website said to get it thru your local chandlery but I've never seen our WM carry it. Now that they've expanded, maybe. Worth an email to the tape people anyway. Have fun!LaDonna
