I own a 1987 345 , in the cock pit there is the usual teak strips on seats. I have a few that have started leaking around the screws that hold them in place. Is there a sure fire way to fix this problem? Or do I need to 1. take off 2. strip off old varnish 3. glue to area and rescrew and plug screw holes with teak plugs 4. varnish

COCKPIT SEATS

I have a '94 400 with teak on the seats. I think the teak is more of pain in the aft than they're worth. I've done every kind of teak treatment there is and have finally come to conclusion to simply let them go natural gray. If I had a leak, I wouldn't bother with any screws since the teak is only a veneer. I'd stick 'em down with some 3200 and let it go at that.
