I have an ex-Moorings Beneteau 440 that is now just over 10 years old. She spent 8 years in Charter service in the Caribbean. In a number of places the teak slatting in the cockpit and on the stern is lifting from the rubberised sealant. (It gets very wet underneath and squelches water when stood on!)I would like to make a project of restoring these area while aboard this winter. Can anyone help with recommendations on the methodology or perhaps point me to a site where I can get relevant information.Has anyone actually tackled this themselves or is it necessary to go to a woodworking boat builder to get this work done with proper quality? Thanks for any help.Steve Brockhouse (Toronto)
