Striping tape removal
Bob, I have removed adhesive tape from my H33.5 using several methods depending on the difficulty level of removing the tape. First, try simply peeling. Second, try heatin slightly with a hair dryer or heat gun. Finally, 3M makes a removal disc that is make of several laminated abbrasive clothes that is used on a high speed polisher---this does a great job with little effort and minimal time. Last time my boat was in the yard for haul out, the yard manager allowed me to use the disc and polisher to strip the name and home port from the stern. It took only a few minutes!
