Here are photos of the incredible spot where I am securely on the large mooring that belongs to the ketch motorsailer at the dock awaiting rain and possible thunderstorms this afternoon.
The schooner left yesterday afternoon and I never saw her go. She has electric drive. One minute she was there, I looked around, and she was gone.
The view out into Mahone Bay from the cove.
Looking up the cove:
My hosts own the motorsailer and the blue double ender, just visible behind which is their own marine railway that they haul the ketch on in the winter. They use this home as a base for a trip south to the Bahamas every other year. I think it's going to be a long time until I see a nicer set up than this one.
