My 1993 h27 has a water tank, a holding tank and a fuel tank. Over the weekend, I filled and emptied the holding and water tanks several times. During this process, I decided to measure their capacity. The water tank is 20 GALLON (I filled the tank and measured the water in gallon jugs from the sink as it emptied). The holding tank is 10 GALLON. I poured 1 gallon at a time in the toilet and pumped it into the holding tank until it came out the overflow. I have no way of knowing if either tank pumped out completely dry, but the EFFECTIVE capacity of the two tanks is 20 gal. and 10 gal. respectively. This is the trivia for the day. Ward PS... I was doing this just to clean things up after a successful trip to Lake Michigan sailing for a week. We trailered the boat 450 miles to Door County Wisc. I stepped the mast and rigged the boat myself. I Launched it from a local ramp. We sailed a little over 150 miles while staying on the boat the entire time. All systems worked great and we had a wonderful time.

good information

Good information to know. There have been posts with questions about the fresh water capacity --may be differences between different year models of the H-27. A week devoted to sailing --Wow - I'm envious.
