Hi. Found a fix for the original 2005 tank monitoring panel for 15 bucks. The lcd display eventually fades to useless. That lcd is on a little pcb circuit board and can be replaced. The original pn isn't available but a substitute is on digikey for 15$. Pn acm1602kr-fl-ybw. If you panel is dim, but you can still see it under flashlight etc, this fix works. With 2 additional wires added (not required) u can backlight too. Cheers!
