In the ongoing holding tank project..........Do you have any thoughts on the discharge pump? I have heard (as usual) a variety of opinions: some say stay away from the macerator style because they need frequent maintenance (read smelly), but they are less expensive, and do macerate (I will have one manual head going into the tank). An alternative seems to be a diaphragm pump - notably the Whale Toilet pump (like their Gulper): supposedly (virtually) no maintenance and difficult if not impossible to plug, but they are expensive (almost twice as much) and don't macerate per se. The SeaLand pump was somewhat poo-pooed as being way more complicated than the Whale, as well as way more expensive, for no great advantage. Also, it's looking like installation space restrictions would prefer the macerator style.Any comments or preferences Peggy?TIA.....Randy
