Tall vs Standard

Any opinions on the Fin Keel and tall rig option.

Yes!

Its a great combination, and the tall rig is one of the best values in the field. I have a tall rig fin keel C-36 (although not a Mk. II, its the same in sial plan and below the waterline), and its fast! Sails beautifully, and balances beautifully. Perfect!jv

Go for the tall rig

I chose the wing keel and standard rig for my 99 36. I wish now I would have gone for the tall. Looking at the masts of other nearby boats of similar size, I belive you could call it standard mast vs. short mast. My boat sails great, but is on the slow side in apparent winds under 6 or7 knots. I really need 10 knts to have fun.
