We've got a 1980 25 swing keel. The boat was hauled for the winter by a yard and put on jack stands - last year it was bone dry in the bilge. We're now just sitting at the slip and taking on about 2 gallons of salt water per day. I've checked the thru hulls and the keel cable entry, they're all dry...all the lockers are dry...the water collects around the keel trunk...The floor access hatches don't allow inspection of the entire area around the keel trunk. I'm concerned about several things:- Cutting multiple and random access holes into the sole...- After the cabin gets all chopped up, we still won't locate the leak...- Perhaps some structural damage, which may result in a real failure in the future while sailing.I'll be very grateful for any insights. Many thanks...
