I started taking water in my Sovereign 18 five days ago. I miss took it for a leak in the portapotty. There is a small bilge under the cockpit floor with a lip between it and the cabin sole. I have a pump in the bilge located just in front of a 3" dia. hole that connects the keel to the bilge. At this point the water is coming out of the hole at a minimal rate and is being picked up by the bilge pump. I'm trying to find out how the keel is constucted (is the lower part solid ballast?) in order to determine where to look for the leak. Once I pull the boat and it's on the trailer a good part of the keel will be hidden. I considered diving to check the hull but between the tannin and algae that abstruct the view and the sea nettles (jelly fish)it's not an option. Any suggestions? G
