Hi-We are taking on water in our Hunter 140 when undersail. We have checked the hull for cracks(none), and have reglued the tape on the underside of the centerboard compartment. It hasn't helped. Would appreciate suggestions. Thanks Jane:confused:

I don't know what a 140 looks like but more than likely the water is working its way through the centerboard trunk or the board's pivot pin. It could either be coming over the top or seeping in through cracks at the front of the trunk. Sealing with a few coats of epoxy may solve the problem. Check the surface which may cover the pin for any separation.
