Steaming light is out. Ugh. Up the mast in the spring. Boat is 23 years old and have not had a bulb burn out yet, it was always corrosion and always the steaming light. Hunter 34 original requires taking the fixture off the mast to get to the bulb. After cleaning the contacts last time, when I reassembled the fixture, I must have pinched a wire and my husband had to go up the mast and re-install the fixture. This time I don't have a back-up except to con a friend into it or hire the marina. Guess I better do it right the first time. Now to loose some weight to make the climb easier. lol

Yeah, one of my spreader level running lights is out. I want to replace them both with LEDs, but I am not satisfied with what I have found so far. I replaced all my cabin lights with LEDs 2 seasons ago, and have seen a few dim, a couple others blinking, and a few have gone out altogether. Until recently, I hadn't seen any 3 mile LEDs anyway.


Hey Maine, are those extra grommets on the bottom of your junction boxes for ventilation, to let the clean, fresh ocean air in to keep the connections dry?
