Table up inside when sailing 23.5

Hi - Just wondering if it's ok to sail with the table up in the cabin. Could people grabbing it as a hand (or body) hold cause damage underway?

You are asking for injury should it fall without proper securing

Damage to the boat or to the guest? If you're worried about security, figure out a way to lock it down. Or you could add grab rail aoverhead.

The table is supported by a singl post and both are stored under the V berth

We broke the mount off of the seat front when someone fell on it. I replaced the screws with 1/4" bolts and washers. We stow it upside down under the cockpit when sailing.
