Table is a bed?

This past week end I put the table down as a bed for my two small girls to play on. I had difficulty in finding the correct combination of cushions to fill the space perfectly. My boat is a Catalina 27 dinnette layout. I have done this in campers and the cushions fit perfectly and the outside edges of the cushions all line up and it looks like it was made for this configuation. Maybe my expectations are two high. Any suggestions to help this look correct would be appriciated. Skip "Kid Napper"

beds

Our new C36 came with extra cushions for making the salon into extra beds. The fun part is figuring out where to put these when not in use. Do you have the extra cushions? or are you trying to rearrange the existing ones? Regards, Chris

Keep on trying, they fit

You will find the combination that works, it might just take time. Hey, have your girls play at making the puzzle fit and you go sail! Anyway, as you guessed, they do fit perfectly when correct combinatioon is found.

Up or down, I always have a spare cushion..

When the table is down, I don't use the vertical cushion on the aft seat and when the table is up, there's no where to put the centre cushion for the bed. Paul

No, it's not going to fill a fitted sheet...

If you take the seat cushion off the aft bench (at dinning table) and use the two back rests, (one at the head and one at the foot) the seat cushion from the forward bench, then grab the back rest from port settee (next to/aft of the stove) it works pretty well. My wife and I have also added a foam cushion (that rolls up and is stowed when underway) so we don't feel the all the bumps and humps from the cushions being pieced together. Works for us and is so much better than the V berth. Regards, Lysle C27 (dinette) "Soffiami"
