Table/bench shape

I've been shopping for a C30. I saw one yesterday in Michigan with a U-shaped bench around a table with a post. All the layouts of C30's show a L-shaped bench. What boat did I see? Was this an option? It was a 1984. This boat also had harware for making it cutter-rigged althought the owner did little with this. Any information about this option?

What you saw was a dinette model. MyC30 is a dinette ad I love it. You get an extra locker under the seat and it is easier to feed a crowd. We had seven people on board last night for dinner. It was a little crowded but everyone was able to cut their steaks.

I second Hayden's comments.....

I also have the dinette configuration and I'm surprised it isn't standard. People can get out from either side of the table and that large, convienent storage area is great. My Cat. 30 is a 1983 and I don't know if that option is still offered today.Jeff

Yeah, the dinette is a cool setup. Rob's 30 had that setup but he didn't like the table so much cuz it was "in the way." I've heard of folks building, or having built, a table with folding leaves. LaDonna
