Hi all,

I am thinking of installing a table in the cockpit of our Hunter 33 (Cherubini model).

My first thoughts are the RV type. Base bolted to floor with removable table top and post.

The base (mount) would have to be water proof and have some kind of removable cap to keep people from tripping
on it when not in use.

Anyone done this already or have related input?

Thanks

I've always found cockpits tight anyway, even on my cruising cat. Better to go cocktail party style and juggle. Open space is nice, clutter is not. Deploy the table and no one can walk by. Less is more. If you really need a sit-down, you have a salon.

Have you looked into one of these. I had one on my previous boat, a Hunter 25.5. I bought the table top through a sale at West Marine and went directly to Lagun to purchase stand.

Goes up and down, swivels, turns 360 degrees, can be set up off set to the center of the cockpit, made very high quality, expensive, but worth every penny. View website at: Lagun USA - The ORIGINAL Lagun Table Leg System from Sweden

Thanks all. I should have mentioned that my steering pedestal does not have the additional support pipe "sissy bar"? thing.

So, for me to do the table on the helm thing I would booking at more substantial bucks.

I will look at the Lagun.

Thanks again
