I didn't use the term davit or boom or any other in the tittke question as I am leaving the method open to any you think works well. I have a 426 and only have a small 3.3 horse outboard, so it is doable with a line by pulling the motor up to the deck, and conversly lowering it to the dingy - however ever time I do this (or did it on my 326) it felt like catching hold of a greased pig and getting the motor mounted and removed seemed much harder than it should. But, with the dingy bouncing and my wife handing me the moter it always seemed like a matter of time befor we had a problem - yes I keep a line on the moter etc. But think that some type of boom or something would make this an easy task - any thoughts? What do you do? And if you do somehting with specific hardware, pleas give me the name/model and where to get it! Thanks for any comments Ed
