Synthetic teak flooring

I was toying with the idea of installing synthetic teak flooring in the cockpit of my 281 - thought it might spiff up what is otherwise a sea of white fiberglass. It would be a pretty small installation, and was wondering if anyone else has done this, thinks it's a good idea, or a bad idea? There seem to be a few brands out there (plasteak, nuteak, coolteak) and most of the photos on the internet are powerboats. Thanks for any advice.

I used the plasteak on the sugar scoop steps and it's working great.
