Swinging bridge on Apalachicola River ICW

I'm looking at charts for the ICW between Apalachicola FL and Port St. Joe FL. On a stretch of the Apalachicola River at about Bay City, the charts list a swinging bridge with 11 feet of vertical clearance. Does anyone have any specific knowledge about that bridge? Can openings be requested? If not, we will need to go outside between Port St. Joe and Apalachicola.
