Shouldn't be a problem

It Doesn't Matter as long as the tide never gets so low that you run aground.

Barnacles and Critters

There's a tendency of growth finding its way into the centerboard trunk as that's not an area that gets bottom painted easily. Raising and lowering the centerboard will prevent things from getting encrusted. You don't want to get your centerboard jammed and not be able to raise it when you need to. Also, if your mooring area is subject to weather, there's no need for the board to get all that unneeded stress. My two cents - raise it at the mooring.

Manual says "leave it up"

Hiya, The manual that I have with my Catalina 22 says that it should be left up when not sailed. I have done that and have encountered no problems at all with it. FYI
