I suufered Hurricane Katrina damage and am in the process of making repairs. My question is how does one replace the swimg keel. The pin apears to be covered by the fiberglass, Can't locate it with just a visual inspection. Are the dimesions I can use to find it.

On my Oday 25, 1980, I have two SS plates about 3/4 x 4 in. with a bolt in each end. These plates are on each side of the CB and they hold up a FG triangle, which in turn holds the CB pivot pin. The pivot pin is about 3/4-1 in. in dia. If you take out the 4 bolts, the CB may fall out for you. But some times the FG triangles are 'glued' to the trunk and you will need a putty knife to slide up between the trunk and the triangles to separate them. On average it is a fairly simple situation, if you can put the boat in a sling. Best of luck to you. Tom
