Bart, While I know nothing on the H25 I do know
about my 95 H26. To drop the centerboard on my H26 water ballasted boat I must have the boat high enough to drop the board out of its housing. By looking at the drawings in my owners manual it appears that the board can be dropped out of the housing while still in the horizonal position, thereby reducing the total height the boat must be raised. A very good item for those of us that do our own work. The bolt assembly holding the centerboard is serviced from the cabin at the base of the compression post. On mine I need to replace the raising line and paint the top of the board and the inside of the board housing. I also need to look for blistering up in this housing and on the top of the board. Hope this helps.RayS/V Speedy
