Swing Keel Refurbished

I have a question, I recently had my Catalina 22 swing keel sandblasted, epoxy filled, faired, and painted. The estimate from Sailors Emporium in RockHall Md was for between $700-$1000 and I ended up paying $1450. I picked up the boat, and a week later they sent me another bill for another $170. Would you guys pay it? Does anyone think I am I getting ripped off? Thanks.

hello mark. i am allways willing to pay ten percent over what is esimated. because " stuff happens ", they may have broken the bolts that hold it on. it was not somthing that could be prevented ect. find out what they did that required this,about 25% over estimate, and then decide.it seems like to much to me though. john
