I plan to replace my Swing Keel bunkboard on my 98 240 trailer. The trailer currently has 2 2x6 s side by side for this purpose. When I pull the boat onto the trailer if I'm not 100% straight down the middle the boat will rest on just one of the boards and produce a very noticeable sag. I'm thinking of replacing the 2x 6's with one 2x10. The boat next to me in my dry dock facility is a new 260 and that boat sits on one 2x10. Is there any reason not to go to one 2x10? Do the new 240 trailers still have the two boards? Thanks for the help.
