After removing the cabin steps I discovered I have dislodged the upper portion of the keel cable tube. By that I mean the portion where the hose connects. I became aware of this after launching last week when water started seeping in about and inch and a half below the hose connection. I can also rotate the hose about a quarter inch in either direction with the pivot location at the same location as the water leak (see ink pen line in photo).
Is the tube threaded into the hull at that point?
The fiberglass seems to be well bonded above the leak and I have considered reglassing the entire area to provide structural support but I want to understand what's under the glass before I decide on a plan of attack. I have not been able to find a definitive drawing or photo of what's there and I want to know if the upper tube is threaded or simply bonded in place.
Thank you.
Edit: I should have mentioned that this is a C25.
