Well I guess this was the weekend I had my shower on the swim step start leaking. I noticed water dripping from the showerhead after use and started taking things apart and I think I fixed it, maybe... By the end of the weekend I had about a gallon fresh water in the shaft tube and I engine bilge.
We only use that shower to rinse off things like feet and crab, no one ever taken a full shower back there so I'm thinking about doing the following:
- Blowing out the hot water line and capping it, it's never used anyways.
- Bypassing the hot/cold switch and go directly to showerhead to simplify tubes back there and free up room.
- Install a valve in the cold, that way we can disconnect the outside shower from the rest of the pressurized fresh water.
Anyone think I'm just over complicating it instead of just fixing the shower head and fittings back there?
