Swim ladder recommendations?

We're planning to install a swim ladder on our C22's transom and would appreciate any feedback on products you like, and maybe ones to avoid as well. Boat is without life lines or pushpit.Thanks,John

Get one with wide treads

I have the stock standard swim ladder. It works but it is hard on the feet. I would get one with wide plastic treads.Art <(((><

Art, Are the tubes on your ladder round ? or do they have a flat top? mine had the flat top a little research found I could buy the step pads from Garhauer, it made all the difference in the world, CD also sells pads for the round tube laddersKen

Where to get ladder pads/steps

I have a ladder that has round tubing, it's a killer on your feet and not worth it if using it a lot. Going to make some steps out of wood, but is there any places on the internet that sells plastic steps?Thanks,Gagews
