I'm about to purchase a 1992 First 285. The swim ladder is bent down and loose. It was bent when someone stepped on it. Appears the ladder goes through the transom and is bolted from the inside. The owner says it has never caused a problem but he has always has a little water in the bilge and cann't find the source. He said he couldn't find a way to look at it from the inside. Any ideas how to get to the bolt on the inside?
