Hello, purchased 250 to sail on lake that is exteremly hot late spring through early fall. Does anyone have specific recommendations for shade, dodger or bimini?

It's been called the trailer-trash bimini. Rig a silver tarp (they're heavier duty than blue) across your boom and that's pretty much it! Under $10 including the bungees. You can add PVC piping to make it more of a bimini. Or you could contact Bly here on this site to find out the cost of a purty one.

Mel; Get a painter's drop cloth from the hardware store, have some grommets set into the edges, and viola!
